Betting Bonus

Sports betting bonuses are the carrot used by sportsbooks to lure you in, or in the form of a loyalty program, the way they keep you from fleeing for the competition.

These can be used very effectively to boost your NFL betting strategy. When you sign-up with any decent sportsbook you can expect a bonus. That could come either in the form of a no-deposit bonus (which is very much the holy grail of sports betting), albeit the winnings may be tied up in play-through action.

Or the bonus may be via a matched deposit, where your initial deposit is matched by the provider, all in their attempt to secure you as a user of their brand. Make sure to shop around and take advantage of our brands reviews which will provide you with vital information on all the major providers out there.

Futures

The NFL offers some great futures action, whether that’s backing your team to make it through the regular season (and beyond), or selecting your pick for the MVP. Futures betting gives you the chance to back a bet that could be months in the making, giving you extra satisfaction as your side keeps their winning run going.

You can expect the likes of the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills and the San Francisco 49ers to be up among the favorites for Super Bowl glory in 2022, and with Tom Brady on board it would be wise to consider punting on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season as the legendary quarterback looks to clinch his eighth championship.

NFL Super Bowl 2022 Futures - Odds to Win

Kansas City Chiefs +500
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +650
Buffalo Bills +1200
San Francisco 49ers +1200
Los Angeles Rams +1200
Baltimore Ravens +1500
Cleveland Browns +1500
Green Bay Packers +1500

Last season was deeply impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, with large swathes of the season played out in front of few, if any, supporters. Fortunately 25,000 fans were allowed to enjoy the finale of the season as the Buccaneers eased past the Chief, 31-9 to secure their first title since 2002.

Their victory was, of course, partly down to the arrival of Tom Brady but also due to the consistent displays put in by wide receiver Mike Evans and outside linebacker Shaq Barrett.

NFL Betting – A Guide

When it comes to betting it doesn’t get much bigger than the NFL. Every year more than $100 billion is gambled on the National Football League and American Football is, by some distance, the most popular sport to bet on in the US.

Interest in the NFL isn’t just limited to North America, it’s also hugely popular across Europe and beyond, not just due to Americans who have moved away from their home country, but because American Football is a sport that continues to retain a strong interest outside its point of origin.

Betting is big across the entire regular and postseason but comes to a peak in and around the Super Bowl, an event with a global reach of hundreds of millions and it’s a spectacle that goes beyond interest in the sport itself, such is the showpiece nature of the finale of the NFL season.

NFL Guide

For those of you who don’t retain a great deal of knowledge of the NFL, please let us help you with some pointers and basic information that could be of real use to you when it comes to placing your NFL bets.

The NFL has run since 1920, in one guise or another, and is run across two leagues, the NFC and the AFC. Each division comprises four groups of four teams, with a total of 32 teams doing battle to qualify for the postseason playoffs.

Each team plays 16 regular-season games and looks to finish in the top two of each four-team league, though that may not be enough to get you through to the postseason.

In 2020-21 the number of teams who qualified for the postseason increased from 12 to 14 and wildcard sides play out their matches before being pitched against those who finished in superior positions in each league.
