In an exciting team-up, leading sportsbook operator BetMGM has announced that it is partnering with digital-first news outlet Cheddar News to launch a new weekly program called Cheddar Bets.
The first-of-its-kind show will explore the intersection of sports betting and financial markets, while the deal also establishes BetMGM as the “Exclusive Sports Betting Partner of Cheddar News.”

Speaking about the partnership, SVP & General Manager of Cheddar News, Liam Roecklien said: “Now, together in partnership with BetMGM, Cheddar Bets will dive deep into the world of sports betting and its effect on sports, technology, financial markets, regulation and more, all while highlighting the community that has changed the game and continues to drive the sports betting industry forward.”
Cheddar Bets will broadcast from a custom-built BetMGM studio in New York, where they will dissect the weekly sports calendar through a betting lens, while the show will also provide insider access to behind-the-book intel from the oddsmakers at BetMGM.
The show premieres on Thursday, August 19 and it will air every Thursday at 4:30 pm ET on Cheddar News.
